THIS IS WHAT I LOVE TO DO

It's 1982, I'm 5 years old. It's Thanksgiving and that's my dad's old film camera in my hand.

I've been captivated by photography since I was a kid. I'm grown up now (sort of), have some little ones of my own, and still captivated. As long as I can remember I've wanted to capture the world around me with pictures.

My wife and I have three kids, and that's inspired me to help families capture their precious moments while there's still time for giggles, rough-housing and snuggles.

I've been a photographer since at least 1982, but professionally for more than 17 years. I've been a photographer and videographer for TV shows, magazines, non-profits and higher education.

WHY BLUE BICYCLE?

When I was a child, I remember that I would hop on my bike and ride off to unknown adventure as often as I could. My first bike was a hand-me-down Schwinn, blue with whitewall tires.

That blue bicycle was the perfect symbol of childhood innocents and freedom.

I've yet to meet someone who doesn't look back at their childhood and the new found freedom that a bicycle provided without great affection. I've also learned that one of the greatest joys of being a parent is rediscovering that freedom with your own children.

So why Blue Bicycle? What color was your first bike?

Contact me and I'll help you capture those simple moments for you and your family, so you can hold onto and cherish them forever.
